When is it necessary to clean the injector?

In fact, this is a pump that pumps fuel under high pressure using nozzles into the cylinder or intake manifold of the engine. The fuel supply, and hence the operation of the entire power unit, depends on the serviceability of the injector. The use of low-quality fuel over time leads to the fact that deposits appear on the components of the injection system, which, after oxidation, turn into a stable film that prevents uniform fuel injection.

If the contamination is not removed at the initial stage, the situation will only worsen. Ultimately, this will lead to rapid wear of parts, the formation of carbon deposits, catalytic converter failure, engine starting problems, etc.

Timely preventive cleaning of the injector will help prevent the occurrence of all these problems. It is necessary in such cases:

• You are refueling with questionable quality fuel.
• There were problems starting the engine. Due to insufficiently strong pressure, gasoline is not injected, but literally flows into the cylinders. This leads to a decrease in engine power.
• The performance of the engine at idle and at the moment of gear shifting has deteriorated.
• The dynamics of engine acceleration has significantly decreased, there is a loss of power.
• Pops are fixed in the exhaust system.
• Fuel consumption has increased. If the car has clogged nozzles, its “gluttony” increases sharply. In this case, the injector must be cleaned immediately.

How often should the injector be cleaned?

In this case, it all depends on the type of vehicle, the quality of the gasoline used and the annual mileage of your car. Regardless of the mileage and operating conditions of the vehicle, on average it is recommended to flush the injector at least once a year. But, if you drive mostly short distances and spend a lot of time in traffic jams and downtime, you need to clean the engine fuel system every 5000 km.

This is due to the fact that such operating conditions of the car accelerate the formation of carbon deposits inside the engine, lead to loss of injector tightness and malfunction of the injection control system.

The active components of the product and microbubbles formed under the action of ultrasound contribute to the rapid elimination of harmful deposits. After that, all parts of the injection system are installed in place.
